DHL opens Wrocław centre
The Gateway building has 36 courier gates
POLAND DHL Express has opened a building in Wrocław for the processing of international express parcels.

The facility has been built for clients develop export and import clients in Lower Silesia. The 2,150 sqm building has been designed so that it can be extended in the future. It comprises 331 sqm of offices and a 1,800 sqm warehouse. It has also been equipped with 36 courier gates, nine gates with mobile unloading ramps for unloading large transports and two fingers for the direct loading of courier cars. The sorting system installed is capable of sorting 1,500 packages per hour.

“After the launch of new logistics centres in Rzeszów, Lublin and Toruń as well as international air courier terminals in Katowice and Warsaw, the Gateway in Wrocław is our latest successfully completed project. It is a modern and comfortable workplace where 80 people work in shifts,” says Agnieszka Błaś, the operations director and a board member at DHL Express (Poland).
