POLAND Corelens, which provides lenses for cataract surgery is to enter the real estate market.

Due to stagnant revenues the company has decided to develop residential and commercial buildings, which according to the management will increase the company’s value for its shareholders since this is a rapidly expanding segment of the real estate market. Corelens is to seek the consent of its shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting for its new strategy and the sale of what has hitherto been its main business line.
