Skanska sells EUR 52 mln building

POLAND Skanska has sold the Nowa Fabryczna office building in Łódź to fund manager Niam for EUR 52 mln.

Colliers International, Cushman & Wakefield and Dentons advised the seller, while Linklaters advised the buyer “The Nowa Fabryczna sale is the third transaction we have made with Niam in Poland's regional markets since 2015. Łódź is a great example of a city focused on business growth which is illustrated by the record breaking number of building permits issued in 2017,” commented Adrian Karczewicz, the head of divestments for Skanska’s commercial development business in the CEE region.

The 21,500 sqm gla building of seven storeys with two underground levels and 210 parking spaces opened in October last year. Its tenants include Fujitsu, Whirlpool, Cybercom and McCormick. The building is expected to be awarded LEED ‘Gold’ and “Building without barriers” certificates
