Facelift for Vienna

The guestrooms are to be given a completely new look, while the corridors and elevators are also to be spruced up. The renovations are to be carried out in several stages and should be completed by the end of August.

Vienna House Easy Cracow, formerly Chopin Cracow, is run by Vienna House Easy hotels in line with its ‘cool bed & breakfast’ philosophy.

All the rooms in Vienna House Easy Cracow will get a simple design that combines modernity and regional decorative elements. The most important assumption is to achieve harmony between the workplace and a place to relax. The interior design bases on a white and grey combined with expressive colour additions that will be different on each floor of the hotel.

The rooms are to be redecorated in stages to minimise the disruption to the daily running of the hotel. The work on the third floor with 64 rooms has just started and should be finished by the beginning of May. By the end of July, the first and the second floor should have been completed and the fourth floor by the end of August. Four new family rooms are to be created. The renovations are being carried out by Riedl, with the costs of the project coming to app. EUR 1.82 mln. The work is to be supervised by the hotel’s general manager Ewa Nowakowska and Vienna House’s own project team, which has completed several similar upgrades of Vienna House hotels over the last two years.

Hotel Vienna House Easy Cracow is situated in Kraków’s main business and shopping district. It has 220 guestrooms, including a suite, five conference rooms for 285 people, a restaurant and a bar with a summer garden, as well as a fitness and sauna area.
