Beautiful and modern MBank in Łódź
Office & mixed-use developmentThe facility is equipped with the latest office solutions and packed with modern technologies. Until now, MBank employees in Łódź worked in six different buildings, located in the Business Center at al. Piłsudskiego 3, in the Red Tower on ul. Roosevelta and on ul. Jaracza. Now over 2,000 specialists, mostly involved in retail banking, have an area of 24,000 sqm available on five floors. “We have been associated with Łódź for 18 years, and the opening of the MBank Stop strengthens this relationship very much. The choice of Nowe Centrum Łodzi was somewhat obvious. The proximity of the railway station was the decisive factor as it makes it possible to reach Warsaw, i.e. the location of the second headquarters of the bank, in just over an hour. We are proud to see how this quarter of Łódź is developing and we are happy that our headquarters is a part of it,” said Cezary Stypułkowski, the chairman of MBank. The final arrangement of the interior of Przystanek MBank was created on the basis of consultations with employees and conclusions from the conducted pilot project which tested the latest office solutions. In addition, a nearly 80-person group of ambassadors of the new headquarters regularly reviewed the office equipment elements, types of meeting rooms and even suppliers in the canteen. Each floor of the office building is different and it has its own theme – from film, to nature, cities and colours of the world, to modern technologies. This is reflected, for example, in the names and decor of the rooms. The building is also equipped with mobile technologies - the smartphone works as a key to the entrance gates, it allows you to find a room and reserve it, and in the future it will also efficiently guide the guest in the building using QR codes providing access to designated areas of the building. The building has a fast Wi-Fi, so you can also work on the roof of the building. Przystanek MBank also includes relaxation zones with swings, game rooms, spacious kitchens and as many as 263 rooms for work equipped with modern teleconferencing solutions or inductive telephones chargers. Employees also have terraces with a total area of over 1,000 sqm. One of them, located at a height of 25 meters will offer the view of the panorama of Nowe Centrum Łodzi. People looking for greenery in the city centre will also find something for themselves – the building has over 80 sqm of walls covered with living moss and lichens. Bike enthusiasts will find the largest bicycle parking area in Łódź for about 140 two-wheelers with the appropriate infrastructure including locker rooms and showers. MBank stop was built by Ghelamco Poland. The developer signed a 12-year lease agreement with the bank and it sold the office building at the end of 2017.
