Golub starts to develop student residence in Kraków
Completion of construction work is scheduled for summer 2019

POLAND Golub GetHouse has started the construction of the Livinn Kraków student residence on ul. Romanowicza in Kraków’s Zabłocie district.

The former Telpod factory is to be converted into university accommodation with 290 units for one, two, three or four people, and a total of over 700 beds. Each unit will come with living room with a study, a bedroom, a kitchenette and a bathroom. The units will be fully furnished and will have access to high speed internet. Students will also receive unlimited access to study rooms, a games and entertainment centre, a cinema and a communal kitchen. The ground floor will come with guest space. Additionally, the building will house a modern gym, bike storage and a launderette for the exclusive use of the residents. Livinn Kraków will also have an internal garden and a terrace with a view of the city. The entire building will be monitored 24/7 by reception, security staff and CCTV cameras. The building will also have publicly available commercial and service spaces on the ground floor, including a 650 sqm store. The developer has also planned a café which may be managed by an external operator. The café has a separate entrance from the street.

“With exceptionally developed student amenities, Livinn Kraków will be a great space not only to study but also for personal development, a place for creativity, pursuing various hobbies, and integrating with the community,” says Czarek Jarząbek, the founder and CEO of Golub GetHouse.

The design is by IMB Asymetria. Unibep is the general constructor. of the project.

Completion of construction work is scheduled for summer 2019, and the centre will be ready for the first students to move in at the start of the 2019/2020 academic year. The developer is partnered in this project by Chicago’s CA Ventures International and the investment is financed from Golub GetHouse’s real estate fund.

This is the second student housing project of Golub GetHouse after its recently started project on ul. Jagiellońska near the Koźmiński University campus in Warsaw.
