YIT on a highway to Minsk
RUSSIA YIT has been subcontracted by Mostotrest to renovate a 15 km stretch of the M1 motorway from Moscow to Minsk, south of the town of Gagarin.

Work is to start in April 2018 and will take until October 2019. Around 90,000 tonnes of asphalt is to be laid in a contract worth EUR 11.5 mln.

The 450 km M1 motorway is part of the European route E30 and the Pan-European Berlin-Nizhny-Novgorod transport corridor.

YIT has 20 years of experience in constructing and renovating roads including in Russia and has been involved in the renovation of the M2, M4, M11, and A108 roads. The company has also renovated more than 300 bridges across the country.
