POLAND Dino Polska opened 25 stores in Q1 2018, which compares to eleven in the same period of the previous year.
Its network numbered 800 stores at the end of March 2018 compared to 639 stores one year previously. The stores have a combined sales area of 305,400 sqm, which represents 62,700 sqm more space opened over the year.
Dino is a network of mid-sized proximity supermarket stores, which are located close to where consumers live and at the same time it is one of the fastest growing chains on the retail grocery market in Poland. Dino’s stores are mainly in western Poland and have an average sales area of 400 sqm.
Dino has three distribution centres in Krotoszyn, Jastrowie and Piotrków Trybunalski and the chain is able to deliver fresh produce to all its stores on a daily basis.
