Electronic upgrade for Focus Park
Focus Park Rybnik was opened in 2007 on the site of a former brewery
POLAND The Media Expert electronic goods store chain has leased 1,000 sqm in the Focus Park shopping centre in Rybnik.
The opening of the store on the first floor of the centre should take place in August. The design work is currently in progress.

“Media Expert is one of the leaders in the household appliances and electronics segment in Poland, offering a very wide range of products, which is why we are proud to announce the signing of a lease agreement with this brand. By doing so we have extended the range of brands in Focus Park with an electronic goods store – which will certainly be an advantage for our customers,” claims Sylwia Surman, the deputy commercial director of Apsys Polska, the manager of the centre.

According to Apsys, in the last half year lease agreements with new tenants have been signed for over 1,400 sqm. These include a Yes jewellers, Vistula, Rogoza and Coral Travel. Contracts for almost 6,800 sqm have also been extended. The centre now features such brands as Multikino, C&A, Douglas, New Yorker, Orsay, Wojas, Empik, Ryłko, Rey Jay, Wólczanka, Ochnik, Apart, Vision Express, Grycan, Plus, Orange, Play and T- Mobile.

The three-level centre was opened in 2007 on the site of a former brewery. It comprises 64 retail and services tenants over a leasable area of 17,600 sqm. It is owned by Union Investment Real Estate.
