POLAND The Plac Unii City Shopping centre in Warsaw has secured new tenants for more than 1,000 sqm.
Agreements extending the presence of several other brands have also been signed. The new tenants include Georgian restaurant Rioni and a Mole Mole bookshop. The companies that have taken up more space or prolonged their lease agreements include Benetton, Tous, Ziaja, Ania Kruk, Tomaotomo, Potis & Verso, Eye Boutique and the newly opened Sushi Studio.
“We want Plac Unii City Shopping to be an integral part of the city and enrich the range of brands available for local residents, hence we have been implementing a programme that expands the centre’s tenant mix,” explains Anna Duchnowska of Invesco Real Estate, the owner of the mall.
Plac Unii City Shopping, at ul. Puławska 2 just south of the city centre, forms part of the mixed-use Plac Unii complex. The more than 70 tenants of Plac Unii City Shopping include Zara, H&M, Empik, Smyk, Stradivarius, Deni Cler, Supersam, Douglas and Calypso Fitness (opening this month). It comprises a total of 15,500 sqm of retail space on three levels, while the underground car park has more than 500 parking spaces. Colliers International is the exclusive leasing agent, while CBRE is the manager of the building.
