Eurobuild CEE 12 April 2018
POLAND CDRL, the owner of children’s clothing brand Coccodrillo, recorded a revenue of PLN 12.3 mln in March, which represents an 8 pct rise on the same month of the previous year. The company’s online revenue for the month was up by 14 pct y-o-y to PLN 1.6 mln.

Over the first quarter Coccodrillo in Poland registered a cumulative revenue of PLN 31.9 mln up by 11 pct y-o-y. “Our sales have been continuously growing since the beginning of the year. Our new collection was very well received by our customers who, despite the poor weather, were more than happy to come and visit our stores,” said Marek Dworczak, the president of the management board of CDRL. Over Q1 2018, the company recorded cumulative online revenue of PLN 5.4 mln, up by 47 pct y-o-y. Over 2017 a CDRL generated total revenues of PLN 230.3 mln up by 13.1 pct y-o-y. Its EBITDA came to PLN 29.6 mln, an increase of 33.9 pct and its net profit was PLN 13.4 mln, slightly down on the previous year, which the company claims was due to adverse valuations of future currency contracts. In 2017 the retail group had 249 stores in Poland, 140 in other EU countries and 111 in other markets. In total the company had 3 pct more stores than in the previous year.
