Ideal third project for Panattoni
Ideal Automotive's plant is to be built on a 9 ha site in Świdnica
POLAND Panattoni Europe has started work on a third production facility for Ideal Automotive – this time in Świdnica, within Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone Invest-Park.

Ideal Automotive is a producer of components and interior furnishing for car brands that include Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volvo, Volkswagen, McLaren, Lamborghini, Bugatti and Porsche. The new project is to be built on 9 ha plot on ul. Pogodna, where parts for the interior elements of passenger cars are to be manufactured. The app. 27,400 sqm factory will be divided into functional zones: industrial (app. 25,000 sqm and consisting of a production and storage hall), two unloading tunnels and technical as well as social and office areas, which will take up more than 2,000 sqm. The completion of the project has been scheduled for Q4 this year. Investment costs for the project are estimated at EUR 15.2 mln, including the costs resulting from the twelve-year lease agreement. Colliers International provided agency services for this transaction.

“In 2017, we built the first Polish factory for the company, in Zielona Góra, and in 2014, also developed its production plant at Panattoni Park Stříbro in the Czech Republic,” points out Marek Foryński, the managing director of the BTS Group at Panattoni Europe. “As with the previous projects, the modern production and warehouse hall in Świdnica will be built according to the specific requirements of Ideal Automotive," he adds.

German company Ideal Automotive now has 16 manufacturing plants globally (in Germany, Mexico, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, China and Poland) and employs a total of 4,500 people. The company intends to employ up to 500 people in the Świdnica plant.
