Campus 6.1 sold to CA Immo
Campus 6.1 has been sold by Skanska for app. EUR 53 mln
ROMANIA CA Immo has acquired the Campus 6.1 office building in Bucharest from Skanska in a deal worth app. EUR 53 mln. The closing of the transaction is subject to all the usual the conditions and is expected to take place by the end of this year.
Campus 6.1, which comprises 22,600 sqm gla of class A office space, is under construction at the junction of Iuliu Maniu and Vasile Milea in the Central-West district of the city, close to the Polytechnic University. It is expected to be completed in Q3 2018. During the sales process, CA Immo was advised by Clifford Chance (legal), PwC (tax, financial) and REC (technical). The legal advisers for Skanska were Peli Filip and Dentons.

“Having acquired Millennium Towers in Budapest in 2016 and the Warsaw Spire building B in Warsaw in 2017, we have continued to pursue our target of the continuous development and expansion of our CEE core market portfolios with the purchase of Campus 6.1 in Bucharest. The multi-tenant property is very well located and will be nearly fully leased by the handover, clearly supporting our overall financial goals,” Andreas Quint, the CEO Of CA Immo has commented.

The eleven-storey building is the first phase of the four-building Campus 6 office complex, Skanska’s second development in Bucharest. It will also have two levels of underground parking complete with an intelligent parking system as part of its intelligent building management system. The building will also feature an IT hub in the reception area, a dashboard showing consumption per tenant/floor as well as a virtual reception (check-in and access control for visitors). A mobile app will be provided for communication with all the services in the building and the neighbourhood as well as building info, event news, car sharing and a maintenance advice service. Shared e-car facilities will be available, along with facilities for cyclists within the building such as lockers and showers. The project is being constructed with the aim of achieving LEED ‘Gold’ certification.
