Spark to have canteen

POLAND Polish canteen chain Connect Lunch Bar has leased 335 sqm of space in the Spark office complex, which is being built by Skanska in Warsaw’s Wola district. Its opening is scheduled for the third quarter of 2018.

“We put our heart and soul into each new canteen so that it perfectly complements an office building,” said Marek Dębicki, the owner of Connect Lunch Bar. This will be the company’s eleventh location in Warsaw. It also has canteens in the Warsaw Trade Tower, Postępu 14, the Nimbus Office building, as well as in Wrocław’s Retro Office House. Connect Lunch Bar is planning to expand both in Warsaw and on regional markets. Cresa, which advised the chain in the transaction, is currently negotiating seven new locations for the tenant across Poland.

Spark is to comprise three office buildings with 70,000 sqm of leasable space. The office complex is in the so-called Serek Wolski site, on ul. Wolska, al. Solidarności and ul. Towarowa. The space outside Spark will be open to both the development’s employees and local residents and will include a public square with an amphitheatre, an exercise area, trampolines, and a park designed as a meeting place for Warsaw’s inhabitants as well as a place to work in the open air.
