Eurobuild CEE 10 May 2018
Kameralny to rise again
POLAND The Bydgoszcz city authorities have appointed Ebud to renovate the city’s Kameralny Theatre in a contract worth PLN 26.4 mln.

The old building is to be knocked down with only the wall facing ul. Podwale to be retained. Under the design openings for windows are to be cut into the wall, which are to be surrounded by granite. The rest of the building is to be built from scratch. The façade will have a grey and white colour scheme while sandstone cladding is to be used for the base. The reconstructed main building will have a standing seam roof while a café is planned in one wing, which is to have the appearance of a historic building and will be covered in plain tiles. Funding for the project is to come from the city budget while EU support under the Integrated Territorial Investments programme comes to PLN 10.4 mln. The work is to be completed by the end of 2019.
