A roof over Warsaw South Hospital
The hospital is located at the junction of ul. Pileckeigo and ul. Indiry Gandi in Ursynów
POLAND Warsaw’s South Hospital [Szpital Południowy] has reached its highest structural point and has been topped off.
The South Hospital will have 309 beds and emergency, internal, cardiological, obstetric-gynaecological, geriatric, orthopaedic, general surgery, psychiatry and intensive care wards as well as specialist clinics and diagnostic and rehabilitation facilities, including a blood bank. It will be able to provide treatment for the residents of the city’s Ursynów district (250,000 inhabitants) but should cover a total of 300,000–350,000 people when those from neighbouring areas are included.

The hospital is due to be completed in July 2019. The city has allocated PLN 400 mln for the project, which is being carried out by a consortium of Erbud, Strabag, Strabag AG and Ed. Züblin.
