Foundation stone for Silesia Outlet

POLAND The groundwork has been completed for the first stage of the Silesia Outlet centre in Gliwice and 6B47 has laid the cornerstone.

Erbud is the general contractor, IMB Asymetria is the architect and BOIG Consulting is the leasing agent. The ceremony was also attended by representatives of Gliwice town council. The first stage of Silesia Outlet, which is 70 pct leased and is being constructed in an investment of PLN 120 mln, will have 12,000 sqm of leasable area and 70 stores. Work on the 8,000 sqm second stage will begin subject to its commercialisation and will comprise 50 units with a small catering area,and a children's zone. “I am hoping that the second stage will be opened in 2020,” says Mirosław Januszko, the managing director of 6B47. The total investment in the project could be PLN 160-170 mln.
