The phone is the key
The system can be used with most locks and intercoms
POLAND Homeit, which is a Portuguese IT system created to meet the needs of the short-term rental market, is coming to Poland.

Apartment owners can create unique electronic keys allowing tenants to access an apartment over a specified period of time using a code sent to a smartphone. Once the rental period elapses the entry code stops working. Homeit is easy to integrate with other reservation management systems and fully automates the process of issuing digital keys. A number of premises can be monitored through a remote control panel at the same time. Homeit can be integrated with the majority of locks and intercoms, opening not only the door to the apartment itself but also to the building. The company has been on the market for over two years and is present in nine countries. “Homeit is a modern app that meets the needs of tourists and landlords. For tourists it saves a significant amount of time allowing someone to check in or check out at any time, without unnecessary visits to the owner of the apartment. Property managers will be happy to eliminate the risk of cutting extra keys to an apartment and will appreciate the personalised control panel to check all rented premises,” says Patryk Rutkowski, the company's director for Poland.
