Panattoni to build fulfilment centre for LPP
Panattoni Park Gdańsk III will comprise two warehouse halls totalling nearly 64,000 sqm

POLAND LPP, the owner of fashion brands Reserved, Cropp, House, Mohito and Sinsay, has leased 16,000 sqm of space in Panattoni Park Gdańsk III, which according to Panattoni is the largest lease signed in TriCity this year.

The new space, including 700 sqm of office space, is to be used as a central warehouse dedicated to Cropp. It will serve the brand’s online stores in eleven countries. The opening is scheduled for Q3 2018. The lease contract provides for an option to expand the space by an additional 5,000 sqm. Around 300 jobs should be created with the opening of the centre. The developer is to include bus bays and two bus stops for the free bus service to the centre. There are also to be bike shelters and the centre is to be certified under BREEAM with an intended rating of ‘Good’.

“In Q1 of this year the online sales of our collections went up by an astounding 139 pct. We anticipate that in 2018 we will manage to double that. Such growth poses significant logistical challenges and is forcing us to expand our distribution network,” said Jacek Kujawa, the vice president of LPP . By 2020, the company is planning to invest PLN 0.5 bln in the development of its logistics network including the current lease at Panattoni Park Gdańsk.

Panattoni Park Gdańsk III will comprise two warehouse halls totalling nearly 64,000 sqm. The complex is being built 10 km south-west of Gdańsk city centre.
