Tomek graduated from the faculty of modern languages at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, where he also started his journalist career in the late 1980s. He has worked in the real estate press since 2005, covering the residential market for ‘Eurobuild CEE’ magazine as well as the new technologies and property management sectors. Sometimes he can be heard on Polish Radio 2, where he reviews the press on the morning programme. At other times he can be seen in the Bieszczady or Beskid Niski mountains, where he enjoys rambling with no fixed purpose or destination in mind.

POLAND Murapol has completed the purchase of the right of perpetual usufruct of ​​more than 0.83 ha on ul. Pachońskiego in Kraków for PLN 9 mln net.

The developer is in currently making other purchases in the same area. It has also signed a preliminary contract for the purchase of almost 1.3 ha adjacent to this land , also located on ul. Pachońskiego. The value of this acquisition comes to app. PLN 19.9 mln net. The developer intends to build a housing estate comprising app. 470 apartments and with a total of app. 21,500 sqm of useable area on both plots. The first purchase agreements for these plots were signed by Murapol in November 2015. A building permit had earlier been issued for the site, but Murapol now intends to obtain a replacement permit by July 30th, 2019. The developer has also signed preliminary agreements for ​​more than 2 ha of neighbouring land, where the company intends to build another 530 apartments ​​with a total usable area of 23,500 sqm.

“The project on ul. Pachońskiego will be our twelfth development project in Kraków,” explains Nikodem Iskra, the CEO of Murapol. “On the land we have bought we will be developing the first building of a multi-stage project. The next buildings will be constructed on neighbouring plots, which we intend to complete the purchase of in Q3 this year,” adds Nikodem Iskra.
