WWF in AFI Tech Park 1
The first building of AFI Tech Park is to be delivered in June
ROMANIA WWF Romania has signed a five-year lease for an area of 350 sqm in AFI Tech Park 1 in Bucharest, with the lease being mediated by Colliers International.

The building is scheduled for delivery in June and the building is currently 40 pct leased.

This first stage of the AFI Tech Park project will include a leasable office area of 20,000 sqm as well as 2,000 sqm of retail.

Other tenants include the 1-Minute quick service restaurant (110 sqm), Game World Group (2,000 sqm), RTC Proffice Experience (650 sqm), Knauf Romania (600 sqm) and a World Class gym (1,500 sqm).

“Competition on the labour market and a greater emphasis on employee needs is making companies rethink their strategies when they choose a new location for their offices. Our new modern class A office buildings close to the centre of the city are among managers’ top preferences as they cut the travelling time spent in traffic. We are pleased that AFI Tech Park, which is a pre-certified LEED ‘Platinum’ green building will host one of the most important and respectable organisations working for the preservation of nature,” says Tal Roma, the business development manager at AFI Europe Romania.

“We chose AFI Tech Park because we felt that the way WWF presents itself to the world should reflect our environmental principles. The whole complex respects the highest environmental standards, right from the design and construction stages of the project. We look forward to working in a place in which we will be closer to the community, in a comfortable space from where we can rapidly and easily access all the areas of the city that are of interest to us in our work,” says Orieta Hulea, the director of WWF Romania.
