Ewa has been a journalist for many years. She began her career in the economic sector, working on such journals as ‘Życie’ and ‘Prawo i Gospodarka’, but has specialised in the real estate sector since 2005. This was when she took up her first position at ‘Eurobuild Poland’, which in 2008 became ‘Eurobuild Central & Eastern Europe’. After work (unless it is the time for publishing the monthly magazine), she can be found outdoors running, in the playground with her son, or at the wine bar.

Imperial addition to Kraków
The design of the project is by the Artur Jasiński i Wspólnicy studio
POLAND The Imperial Business Center office building is to open in Kraków in July.

The developer, Imperial Capital, is currently completing a nine-storey building on ul. Wadowicka with more than 7,000 sqm (5,300 sqm of leasable space). Due to its energy-saving systems, the building has received a BREEAM certificate with a ‘Very Good’ rating. It will also feature sanitary installations designed to limit the waste of drinking water. Its high parameter glazing (U, g, Lt) will maintain the efficiency of the cooling system and the heat recovery. The common areas will also include energy-saving LED lighting, which is run by presence detectors and the Dali system.

In addition to this, the building is to be equipped with a BMS system and contains locker rooms, showers and parking spaces, significantly facilitating the daily commute to the office by bicycle. The investment costs for the project are estimated at PLN 58 mln.

Ruko is the general contractor, while the Artur Jasiński i Wspólnicy studio is responsible for the design work. The founder and owner of a 100 pct stake in Imperial Capital is Maciej Trzmielewski. According to the company, only the façades its illumination still need working on. It will be the second building in Poland with such original lighting system for the façades, with the first being the Lotos building in Gdańsk.
