First hole at Bohema

Eurobuild CEE 25 June 2018
First hole at Bohema
Bohema, a revitalisation of the former Pollena factory, will contain 800 apartments
POLAND The symbolic first hole has been dug for the Bohema project at ul. Szwędzińska 20 in Warsaw’s Praga district, on the site of the former Pollena cosmetics factory.
Construction work on the site has actually been in progress since April. The revitalisation of old post-industrial plant, which will also form part of the first stage, is to begin in H2. Three new buildings with 303 apartments are to be built in this stage, which should be completed in Q1 2020. Unibep is the general contractor, while the developer of the project is Okam. A total of about 800 apartments will eventually be built.

Bohema has been designed as a mixed-use project with residential, service, retail, office and cultural and social facilities. The focal point of the project will be a square (with an original chimney stack) for social and cultural events. It will include cafés, ice cream parlours and a bakery. The commercial section of the project will comprise app. 15,500 sqm.
