NEPI Rockcastle is to pay EUR 121.8 mln for the mall

SLOVAKIA NEPI Rockcastle has bought the Galeria Mlyny mall in Nitra through its subsidiary NRP Shopping Centre Project Two.

Galeria Mlyny has a gla of 33,200 sqm and was opened in 2009. The centre was extended in 2015 with a new wing, which includes a five-screen multiplex. Currently the mall is 98 pct leased to tenants such as Billa, Bershka, C&A, CCC, Deichmann, Gant, Geox, Guess, H&M, Humanic, Intersport, Lindex New Yorker, Orsay, Takko, Tommy Hilfiger and US Polo Assn. The centre has an annual footfall of 9 mln people.

NEPI Rockcastle already owns four shopping centres in the country and is the largest retail landlord in Slovakia.

The aggregate purchase price was EUR 121.8 mln and the property currently has a net operating income of EUR 8.4 mln per annum.
