POLAND MLP Group has leased over 100,000 sqm of industrial space in the first half of this year – almost 3 pct more than in the same period of 2017.
The figure includes 55,500 sqm leased in newly completed facilities, 39,700 sqm of renewed leases and 5,000 sqm of extensions. Altogether the company has signed 22 agreements.
“This year we have leased more space than last year, which was also very good for us. (...) Over half of the space was located in newly developed facilities. The growth in the next few periods will be driven mainly by the expansion in the German market, which is our priority as a strategic market for further growth,” announced Agnieszka Góźdź, the director of the sales department tn MLP Group.
The company operates eight logistics parks in Poland: MLP Pruszków I, MLP Pruszków II, MLP Poznań, MLP Lublin, MLP Teresin, MLP Wrocław, MLP Czeladź and MLP Gliwice. Based on a development agreement, the group is also responsible for the commercialisation of the MLP Bieruń logistics park, which it sold in 2015. In Germany the group operates the MLP Unna and Mönchengladbach parks; while in Romania, it has bought land for development of a new logistics park – MLP Bucharest West. The company has plots of land and reservation agreements for eight other locations.
