Hotel and cinema in one

The operator of the hotel is VHM Hotel Management, the Hilton Worldwide group’s franchise for the Hampton by Hilton brand. In the past the building housed the iconic Neptun cinema, many of elements of which have been preserved. It has 174 rooms, a business lobby with two app. 40 sqm conference rooms and a fully equipped 24-hour gym. The app. 7,600 sqm four-storey building has a 7,000 sqm of hotel section and about 600 sqm of retail and services, including a Kos delicatessen, Manufaktura Nalewki and a Pan Kejk crêpe café. In homage to its history, the hotel will soon feature a studio cinema. The original Tobis-Palast cinema dates back to 1939. After the war (in 1953) it was reopened as the Leningrad cinema before being renamed as the Neptun in1993. “We acquired the property in 2005 and were originally planning an office development. However, after a thorough analysis of the location,we decided that the hotel would be the ideal project for it and the best for us and our partners,” commented Marcin Juszczyk, a board member and the investment director of Capital Park. Work on the reconstruction of the hotel began in January 2016.
The Capital Park group is the investorbehind the project and the owner of the complex of eight tenement buildings the current hotel is located in. Erbud is the general contractor, while the AGK Architekci AW studio was responsible for the architectural concept of the project.
