POLAND On September 11th the Urban Land Institute is to hold its fourth Places + Spaces meeting in Winosfera on ul. Chłodna in Warsaw.
This year’s event is entitled ‘Tomorrow’s Urbanhoods’ and will be devoted to the alternative ways in which cities can provide comfortable living and working conditions for their residents. The subjects examined will include micro-living, co-living and co-working. The panelists who will discuss the growth potential and the current market trends in regard to unusual residential and office properties will include Marc Jorgenius, the co-founder and managing director of Zoku; Daisy Onubogu, the general manager and the vice president for community at the Roam network of co-living spaces; Edward Owen, director of real estate for the EMEA region at WeWork, Maciej Król the chief growth officer at Business Link and two real estate developers: Jeroen van der Toolen, the managing director for the CEE at Ghelamco and Cezary Jarząbek, the founder and CEO of Golub GetHouse. The meeting will be hosted by Richard Stephens, the founder and editor in chief of ‘Poland Today’.
Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, the mayor of Warsaw is the honorary patron of the event. The fifth and final Places + Spaces meeting for this year is entitled, ‘Dreaming the New Downtown’ and is scheduled for October 23rd.
