Arcadis creates its own office
The 1,300 sqm office is on two floors and can accommodate 150 employees
POLAND The head office of Arcadis in Poland has been moved to the West Station II building next to Warsaw’s Dworzec Zachodni railway station.

The 1,300 sqm office is on two floors and can accommodate 150 employees. The space was designed internally by the company’s own interior designers.

The new office is intended to facilitate collaboration between the company’s four business lines (infrastructure, construction, environment and water). “Moving offices is not just about changing locations. It is primarily about furthering the company’s development in Poland and providing our colleagues in Warsaw with the best possible working conditions,” says Jarosław Miziołek, the CEO of Arcadis. Not only was Arcadis responsible for the design but also for all the work on the project including the project management, the furniture purchases and the actual fit-out. The office lay-out includes traditional desks (all with electronic height adjustment), conference rooms as well as open and semi-open spaces for creative work. The office also includes walls of moss that help purify the air. Throughout the work, the employees were kept informed of the progress and they were involved in the creation of the space with competitions to find the neon lit texts for the kitchens as well as the names of the conference rooms.
