Louvre Hotels complex to be built in Katowice
A 200-room hotel complex is planned on ul. Ceglana
POLAND French hotel chain Louvre Hotels together with investor Silport is to develop a 200-room hotel complex in Katowice.
Louvre Hotels will manage complex for Silport upon its completion, scheduled for 2021. It will feature its Kyriad and Première Classe brands. Work on the concept of the project, which will be built at ul. Ceglana beside a pond between Katowice Forest Park and Kościuszko Park, began in 2016 and Construction is to start this year. The hotel will also feature a Sky Bar on the roof of the hotel.

“Katowice is in the current development plans of the Louvre Hotels Group. We are currently the second largest hotel chain in Europe and are planning to be the largest globally. By the end of 2021 we want to double the number of our hotels in Poland. We are interested in the large cities in Poland,” declared Adam Konieczny, the director of chain development in Poland.

Louvre Hotels has nine brands in its portfolio, of between one to five stars. Those that already operate in Poland include Golden Tulip, Campanile and Première Classe. The group currently has more than 2,500 hotels in 52 countries around the world. Its other brands include Tulip Inn, Royal Tulip, five brands of the Sarovar chain in India and four Chinese brands: Metropolo, Jin Jian Inn, Bestay and Goldmet Inn. Louvre Hotels Group is a subsidiary of Jin Jiang International Holdings Co., one of the largest hotel and tourist groups in China.
