Work starts on Diasfera
The first stage of the 20,000 sqm complex will be ready in Q3 2020
POLAND The ground has been broken for the construction of the Diasfera Łódzka residential complex under development by Duda Development between ul. Kilińskiego and ul. Targowa in the centre Łódź.

The first stage of the 20,000 sqm complex will be ready in Q3 2020. A seven-storey building is to be built in the first stage, which is designed to resemble a typical tenement building in Łódź and will include 184 apartments ranging in size from 28 sqm to 90 sqm. “Diasfera Łódzka is in part of an urban regeneration project and it is a good step towards reconstructing the city,” says Wojciech Duda of Duda Development. The project is being developed in collaboration with the city with the city providing the developer with the land for the project. The city also has plans to build a railway line between ul. Targowa and ul. Kilińskiego. “We don’t want to create closed residential estates. We want new projects to become a natural part of the city fibre. For this you need to create a street, a public place that will connect the residential estate with the rest of the city,” claims Hanna Zdanowska, the mayor of Łódź. The project concept was designed by Modo Architecture with Staam Architekt Marcin Sztajerowski and Zoko Architekci. The general contractor is FB Antczak.
