Tamago builds in wood
The prototype house is under construction in Maladzyechna
BELARUS The construction of a prototype of an unusual detached house is nearing completion near Maladzyechna. Its rounded roof serves as walls.

The house is made in the UrbanTech wooden skeleton technology with curved elements called UrbanBlock. A Belarusian start-up Tamago is constructing a prototype wooden house near Maladzyechna. Tamago 115 will be a fully detached house with a useable area of 115 sqm and built using the company’s patented UrbanTech system using a wooden skeleton. Clients will eventually be able to design their own future home by choosing from options online. An 80 sqm house can be assembled in Belarus for RUB 5,900 (app. EUR 3,000). The wooden skeleton is manufactured in a factory near Minsk, which can produce element for around 16 houses every day. The showcase building is to be open to visitors in November this year.
