Empik introduces new app
The new app has been designed to make logging in and purchases faster and easier
POLAND Empik has launched a new mobile app that allows users to log in and reserve products in the store.

This launch forms part of the introduction of a new sales system. The new app was developed by Empik’s Mobile team from scratch over nine months. It is compatible with Android and iOS platforms. The new mobile Empik system also includes the option of express product reservation in the store and picking it up on the same day.

“The speed and stability of the applications are the two areas on which we have focused the most. The process is currently so fast that you can go in a few seconds from the moment the product is selected to the moment of finalising the reservation,” claims Bartłomiej Sobczak, the head of the Mobile department at Empik.

Registration and logging have also been made easier with the new system.

“During the development of the new app we tried to put ourselves in the role of the user so we could make the registration and logging process as simple as possible. A transparent format was created as a result, in which we lead the customer by the hand and fill in the fields for them subject to the e-mail address entered,” adds Mateusz Grzechociński of the Mobile team.

The new version of the app also features specially developed filters to make finding the right product much easier and faster. Empik.com is a marketplace platform with more than 2 mln products that can also be purchased through the application.
