Sydney comes to Minsk
Sydney Lux (bottom left) is within the new Kvartal Magistr district
BELARUS Dana Holdings, the largest residential developer in Belarus, has launched its online booking service for apartments in its Sydney Lux project in Minsk.

The complex will comprise two blocks with 10 and 25 floors. The apartment building is located within the Kvartal Magistr [Champions’ District], where the individual buildings are named after cities that have hosted the Olympic Games (the construction of the Rio de Janeiro building is in progress nearby).

The new district, which is being developed close to the planned Aerodromnaya metro station, will feature a complex of sports fields with modern equipment for outdoor exercise. Cycle paths are to be created along each of the streets while a covered and guarded parking area for bicycles will be located next to each building.

Car traffic is entirely prohibited on the estate, with the car parks having been located underground and outside of common areas. A school and a nursery school have already been established in the middle of the quarter.
