Collectomate to streamline shipments
The last mile delivery system is based on the Collectomate App

POLAND Łódź-based start-up Collectomate has set up a platform to facilitate the delivery and storage of parcels in office and residential buildings. Its founders, Marcin Ciącio and Rafał Dylewski, hope to use the system to solve the so-called last mile problem by improving the efficiency of deliveries.

The system is based on the multi-box Collectomate, which is located at the reception of buildings and is operated using the Collectomate App, acting as an assistant on the delivery of parcels. The system can be used by couriers and individuals – and is already used in the Spark building in Warsaw as well as Skanska’s buildings, including Campus 6 in Bucharest.

The start-up has also been attracting investors, having received PLN 1.4 mln from the Kogito Ventures and Younick Mint funds.

“The logistical problem of last mile and efficient parcel collection at work or home will finally be solved. We believe that our project that will make life and work easier for everyone in this sector – couriers, property managers and the regular users who are ordering more and more goods on-line,” claims Łukasz Obuchowicz, a partner of Kogito Ventures.

The funds raised by the start-up will be designated to the development of the platform and the extension of cooperation with developers and logistics operators.
