Polish pouffes star in Italian film
POLAND/EUROPE Tapa seating was featured as part of the set design in the movie Loro, inspired by the career of the former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi.
A set of Tapa pouffes made by Nowy Styl Group was used in a scene set in the garden of Berlusconi’s villa in Sardinia. Tapa was designed by "Mac" Stopa of Massive Design studio. The designer’s idea was to create pouffes that would resemble an architectural sculpture rather than a typical piece of office furniture. In the spring of 2017, Nowy Styl put the seating on display at Salone del Mobile in Milan, where it was spotted by film set designer Giulia Busnengo.
