HUNGARY Forest Offices in Debrecen is the country’s first LEED Gold certified office building outside Budapest, and the first new office building in Hungary certified under LEED version 4, LEED’s most recent standard.
The building with 22,000 sqm leasable space was handed over in the final quarter of 2018 and is the largest speculative office development in Debrecen, Hungary.
“Forest Offices Debrecen is a modern office building that meets every requirement, located in the most beautiful area of the city, near the Nagyerdő city park. With the new office building, we were able to provide the best conditions for companies looking for outstanding office quality in the region,” stated László Papp, the mayor of Debrecen. Forest Offices Debrecen was designed by Bord Architectural Studio, and constructed by Hunép. The LEED certification process was handled by Colliers International Hungary. The developer was Főnix Office Building a subsidiary of Debrecen City Asset Management.
