Changes at the helm of CCC

Opr./edited AC 11 March 2019
Changes at the helm of CCC
CCC has a network of shoe stores in several European countries
POLAND Dariusz Miłek, the CEO of footwear retailer CCC, has resigned from this position and membership of the company’s board.

He is, however, set to become chairman of the company’s supervisory board. He will continue to perform the functions of the CEO of CCC until an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders takes place, during which a resolution appointing him the supervisory board is likely to be adopted, which will take place no later than the end of June 2019.

“The planned transition of Dariusz Miłek to the supervisory board will not affect his involvement in the company’s affairs, in terms of the capital and time required for this. As chairman of the supervisory board, he will have the opportunity to look at the company’s comprehensive international business with a wider perspective and increase his personal involvement in those fields that have the greatest potential for enhancing the company’s value, such as product development and its further expansion. He intends to devote 100 pct of his time to the affairs of the company,” reads a CCC announcement.

Dariusz Miłek has put Marcin Czyczerski (the current deputy CEO for financial affairs) forward as a candidate for the post of CEO. This will be voted on formally on March 8th, 2019.
