First hotel from Budnex
Hotel Bulvar has been designed to complete a street with 19th century townhouses in Gorzów
POLAND Gorzów Wielkopolski-based Budnex has completed the development of its first hotel: the three-star Bulvar, which has been built close to Gorzów cathedral. Bulvar, which will start welcoming guests this March, is situated among nineteenth-century townhouses along ul. Łużycka.

It consists of 23 air-conditioned single and double rooms located on five floors over app. 650 sqm of usable area. It also has a restaurant and two training and banquet rooms. A monitored car park is situated next to the building. “There are already a few three- and four-star hotels In Gorzów. In our opinion there is still room for further growth, even though this is a difficult market,” says Małgorzata Wrońska of Hotel Bulvar. “The new hotel has a great location in the historic centre of the city and features attractive modern architecture,” she adds.

“Its characteristic glazing allows the façade to penetrate into the interior, which contains industrial and loft elements. The atmosphere is enhanced by bare concrete areas that contrast with the wood, fabrics and colour accents,” explains Bożena Jakubowska, an interior architect at Studio 43, which carried out the interior design work. “The design features elements referencing the building's Gorzów location, as well as maps of the city and view of the embankment,” she adds.

The Pracownia Autorska Dom studio prepared the architectural design of Hotel Bulvar for Budnex, which developed and constructed the project. “We already have buildings with rental apartments under our belts and we now hope that our first hotel project will be welcomed by clients and will give our company new directions to move in,” commented Monika Golec of Budnex.

In August, Budnex is aiming to complete the first stage of the Porta Mare Wellness & Spa aparthotel in Dziwnówek on the Baltic coast. The entire complex will comprise almost 40,000 sqm, 15,000 sqm of which will be taken up by 380 apartments. The first three floors will include a spa, a rehabilitation centre, swimming pools, saunas, a gym, a squash court, a banquet and conference room, a restaurant, a café and a bar.
