Silesia Outlet opens its doors
Retail & leisureIn its first phase Silesia Outlet comprises 60 outlet stores On 12,000 sqm of retail space, which is 85 pct leased. The tenant mix includes such brands as Vistula and Wólczanka, Pierre Cardin with Bugatti, Bytom, Guess, Diverse, Lavard, Lancerto, Molton, Unisono, Only, Triumph, Gatta and Bagatelle, Lee Cooper, Wrangler, Cross Jeans and Pepe Jeans, Kazar, Venezia, Ecco, Symbiosis and Umbro, Intersport, Martes Sport, 4F, Sizeer, Puma, Reebok, New Balance, Trespass, Regatta, Apart, Wittchen, Tefal, Home & Cook and Dajar.
“We have opened one of the most modern outlet centres in the country for the inhabitants of Silesia and visitors to the region. Silesia Outlet has great potential and a strong starting position due to its excellent location, attractive range of brands and cosy interiors,” claims Mirosław Januszko, the managing director of 6B47 Poland. “I would like to thank our team and business partners at all stages of this important project – for their commitment, innovation, efficiency and great enthusiasm. I believe that Silesia Outlet will soon have a very important position on the retail map of the region,” he adds.
Neinver is the manager of the centre. “When we and the tenants were preparing for the opening of the Silesia Outlet, we focused on ensuring that it would operate efficiently. We intend to build a loyal group of customers through effective management, supported by effective marketing tools. Our goal is to provide a positive shopping experience and to consistently increase the number of customers in the future thus generating a stable increase in sales,” explains Bożena Gierszewska-Mroziewicz, the country head of Neinver in Poland and its asset management director in Central Europe.
Silesia Outlet is situated next to the Auchan Gliwice shopping centre – the buildings are joined by a connector and together with a Leroy Merlin store they form a retail complex. The centre is being developed in two phases, with its eventual target area being 20,000 sqm of retail space with more than 800 parking spaces. Erbud was the general contractor for the project, while IMB Asymetria was responsible for the architectural design. The leasing of the Silesia Outlet is being carried out by BOIG The Blue Ocean Investment Group.
