Eurobuild CEE 12 April 2019
Builders needed for Ktw II
.Ktw II in Katowice is to be BREEAM certified
POLAND TDJ Estate has put the construction contract for the second building of the .Ktw complex out to tender. TDJ Estate has prepared a detailed design with architectural studio Medusa Group and .Ktw II is to be a 133m tower with three segments and 31 storeys.
Gleeds has been appointed to manage the second phase of the project.

“For .Ktw II, which is going to be above the standard of an A class office building, the project management has to be of the highest standard, which is why we have appointed Gleeds Polska and its engineering team to work with us on this project. We trust that we will be as pleased with the results of working together as we were with the .Ktw I office building, which was completed on time and on budget,” says Piotr Sołtysik, a senior project manager at TDJ Estate.

As well as being responsible for the project management Gleeds has also been appointed as the BREEAM certification advisor. Bids to construct .Ktw II should be submitted in May and TDJ Estate has started negotiating with potential tenants. Construction work will begin once all the contractors and suppliers have been appointed and the work is expected to take up to 30 months.
