Ambient make-over for Business Garden lobbies
Natural fabrics, wooden furniture and mood lighting have introduced in the lobby of Business Garden

POLAND Vastint has introduced a new lobby concept to its Business Garden office complexes, developed in collaboration with London based studio TurnerBates Design & Architecture.

The initial brief was to design an informal and comfortable reception area that encourages visitors to remain in them for longer, whether for meetings, co-working or relaxing. A pilot project has been implemented in the lobby of one of the buildings of Business Garden Warsaw. It features comfortable armchairs, oak work benches and free standing displays. The lobby also has a multi-purpose welcome desk with a digital check-in kiosk. Paintings inspired by the city’s Łazienki Królewskie park by a local artist have been hung on the walls, as well as digital art provided by TurnerBates Design & Architecture. Natural fabrics, wooden furniture and mood lighting set for the ambience of the time of day have also been introduced.

Roger Andersson, the managing director of Vastint Poland, has commented: “Alongside the surrounding gardens, the communal reception lobbies will be a distinguishing feature of our business parks. We are glad that the proposed style and functional layout of the new receptions has been so well received by our tenants.”

TurnerBates Design & Architecture director Howard Bates adds: “For almost two years, we have been working together with Vastint on a concept that will replace existing traditional reception areas in the Business Garden complexes. We have managed to create comfortable spaces that will encourage tenants and their guests to enjoy a warm, friendly environment.”
