RUSSIA Warimpex has increased its stake in the Airportcity business complex near the Pulkovo 2 international airport in St Petersburg from 55 to 90 pct.

The transaction is subject to the approval of the Russian antitrust authorities. “Airport St. Petersburg is an attractive location with tremendous potential for further development. In addition to a four-star Crowne Plaza hotel, three modern office buildings with a total leasable space of roughly 31,000 sqm have already been built. The two fully occupied Jupiter 1 and Jupiter 2 towers from the first stage with a gla of app. 16,800 sqm were sold in 2015. The third tower built in the second stage Zeppelin with around 15,600 sqm gla – is also fully occupied. The complex still has development land on which a further 150,000 square metres of office space could be built.
