Harrier lands in Czech instead of Poland
Prologis Park Rudná comprises 225,000 sqm in 18 buildings

CZECH REPUBLIC UK digital print and photo print producer Harrier LLC has leased 3,250 sqm in Prologis Park Prague-Rudná, about 20 km west of the centre of the city.

Chris Hughes, the managing director of Harrier LLC, has commented on the lease: “With a significant element of our turnover being distributed into Continental Europe, combined with the continued uncertainty surrounding both the nature and timing of Brexit, the decision was taken to open a new production facility in Prague. This allows us to create a state-of-the-art production facility, in a location close to the major European markets, with excellent distribution networks and access to a highly skilled and enthusiastic talent pool. Our new facility, which should be operational late summer, will allow our European volumes to continue to grow, whilst increasing much needed capacity at our UK facility.”

The company chose to expand into the Czech Republic after also considering Poland. It was advised in this by Cushman & Wakefield, which carried out a feasibility study and represented Harrier in the negotiations for the eventual lease. Harrier is to move into its new premises in August.

Other tenants of the park include Sportisimo, KIKA, Zepter, Toyota, and DHL. Prologis Park Prague-Rudná presently comprises 225,000 sqm in 18 buildings. It lies off exit 5 of the D5 motorway.
