Decathlon introduces RFID in Polish stores

Eurobuild CEE 19 June 2019
POLAND By the end of this month Poland will be the second country, in which Decathlon uses RFID (Radio-frequency identification) tags for all its goods throughout all of its stores.

No other retailer in Poland uses RFID tags so extensively. Such tags allow goods to be easily monitored, which helps streamline logistics and prevent shoplifting. RFID tags will also allow the company to introduce self-service cashiers without the need for the good to be scanned.
