Mateusz Gessler to open restaurant in former caisson

POLAND Mateusz Gessler is to open a restaurant in a converted caisson with a total of 450 sqm, which is one of the remaining buildings of the former Elektrownia Powiśle power plant in Warsaw.

The restauarant will also include a 130 sqm summer garden and a 260 sqm terrace. The new restaurant will face the Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie embankment. Mateusz Gessler’s restaurant will be one of over 30 food concepts in the centre. The Food Hall area will have 16 outlets and three bars as well as a further twelve restaurants with full waiter service. Other food concepts in the centre will include Tel Aviv Urban Food, Soul Food, Pełną Parą as well as Trufla, Quattro Canti, Ye Ye Mex Food, Torro and the Na końcu tęczy ice cream parlour. Television personality Kuba Wojewódzki with his partner Józef Krawczyk is also to open his first restaurant called Niewinni Czarodzieje 2.0.

Elektrownia Powiśle is a project under development by Tristan Capital Partners and White Star Real Estate.
