Eurobuild CEE 09 July 2019
Warehouses to come to 30 mln sqm by 2030
Tomasz Mika, the director of the warehouse and industrial department at JLL

POLAND Tomasz Mika, the director of the warehouse and industrial department at JLL, opened the 15th CEE Warehouse & Logistics Conference, organised by Eurobuild CEE by talking about the boom that is currently on the Polish Warehouse market and forecast that warehouse space in Poland would grow to 30 mln sqm by 2030.

In turn he examined the demand , labour, investment and financing. Poland currently has the eighth highest amount of warehouse space in Europe (15.7 mln sqm). He then went on to talk about potential risks and talked of the global economy, decision making delays, labour shortages, the supply of investment land, and the possibility of the money taps being turned off. And after all these considerations he still saw no cause to stifle his optimism.
