Rafał Ostrowski has over 17 years’ experience as a journalist. Before joining ‘Eurobuild CEE’ five years ago, he wrote for Wydawnictwo Murator and Shopping Centre Magazine, as well as for retailnet.pl. He has also written for many newspapers and magazines as a freelancer and prepared photo-reportages. Rafał graduated from the University of Warsaw in philosophy. He also completed postgraduate studies in text editing. For ‘Eurobuild CEE’ he covers most real estate sectors, including logistics, construction, office, residential and retail. Galeria Chełm 85 pct leased
The 17,500 sqm mall is to open in the first quarter of 2020

POLAND Five tenants have recently leased space in the Galeria Chełm shopping centre project, which is being developed by a joint venture of Acteeum and Equlis in eastern Poland.

Now the centre is 85 pct leased. The new tenants are KiK, 4F, Big Star, Vision Express and Orange. Discount retailer KiK will open a 680 sqm store. Sportswear chain 4F has leased 298 sqm. Big Star will open a 235 sqm fashion store and Vision Express will open a 72 sqm optician’s. Mobile phone operator Orange is also to open a 35 sqm service point. The 17,500 sqm mall is to open in the first quarter of 2020 and will have 55 stores with 550 parking spaces.
