Meblik enters Hungary
Meblik produces furniture specially designed for children

HUNGARY Polish furniture producer Meblik has opened its first store in Hungary – in the Max City shopping centre in Budapest.

Meblik, which was founded in 2006, sells reinforced furniture suitable for children. It has now decided to enter the Hungarian market, opening a local office and registered a subsidiary in the country, Meblik Kft.

“Our products feature rounded edges, attractive designs and use safe, certified protective varnishes. The reliability and safety of the furniture are the factors that our consumers look for in Poland as well as in our export markets,” claims Marcin Łaśko, who is responsible for exports at Meblik. “Polish companies see Hungary as a promising market and they are becoming increasingly confident operating on it,” adds Marcin Karaskiewicz, the head of the Budapest office of PAIH, which is supporting Meblik in its expansion into Hungary.
