POLAND Mirbud has been awarded a PLN 61.12 mln contract by Warsaw city council for the construction of a school and nursery school complex near ul. Nowaka-Jeziorańskiego in the city’s Praga-Południe district.

The deadline for completion of the work falls on December 10th, 2021. Mirbud’s construction team is to enter the site in the next few weeks, while the groundbreaking ceremony has been scheduled for the autumn. The building will be located at the junction of ul. Jana Nowaka-Jeziorańskiego and ul. gen. Fieldorfa in the Gocław sub-district. One of its most distinctive features will be its green roof.

“Provided nothing unforeseen happens, on September 1st, 2022, after the furniture and school equipment has been moved in, 24 primary school classes as well seven nursery school groups will be able to enter the building, fulfilling a vital need in such a rapidly growing residential neighbourhood as Gocław,” reveals Tomasz Kucharski, the mayor of Praga-Południe district.
