POLAND Atrium European Real Estate has completed the acquisition of the King Cross Praga shopping centre on ul. Jubilerska in Warsaw’s Gocław district from a fund managed by CBRE Global Investors (CBRE GI) for EUR 43 mln.

This will be the company’s fifth asset in Warsaw. Last year Atrium European Real Estate bought the Wars Sawa Junior shopping complex in Warsaw also from CBRE GI.

The centre opened in 1996 and was the first shopping centre on the east side of Warsaw. It was enlarged in 2000, when an external shopping arcade was added. The current area of the entire centre (the shopping centre and the Auchan hypermarket) comes to around 27,000 sqm.
